Winter Date Night in Ibiza (part 2)

Winter Date Night in Ibiza (part 2)

For those who think Ibiza is closed throughout the winter - think again!

There are plenty of places to cosy up for a special date night on the White Isle. I’ve already shared 3 of my winter favourites with you, but there were too many on my list to just stick to one blog, so here’s part 2 with 3 more amazing restaurants on the island that you can go to on a winter date.

Shanti

Cala Llonga

Shanti is a new addition to the culinary scene in Cala Llonga, infusing the island with the rich and diverse flavours of Indian cuisine. From the Himalayas to Kerala, Shanti's menu weaves ancient culinary traditions with modern twists, including traditional tandoor and a full holistic experience, embracing the ancient arts of preserving, fermenting, pickling, and sun-drying, ensuring every ingredient is of exceptional quality.

They have a special twilight supper, tasting menu and Sunday thali to enjoy, as well as their a la carte menu. And the cocktails are simply delicious!

Finca Can Suldat

Cala Llonga

I think this is one of Ibiza’s best-kept secrets. Can Suldat, a quirky and rustic restaurant located off the beaten track towards Es Canar, is such a unique dining experience. Its bohemian decor and vine-straddled courtyard make you feel as if you’re in someone's home, enjoying dinner with the extended family.

You can enjoy live music, an intimate atmosphere, and a small, yet flavourful menu. Signature dishes include entrecote, house goulash, cheese fondue, and a garlic-rich Café de Paris sauce.

The charismatic Swiss owner, Peter, known as a hippy rock 'n' roll pirate, adds a personal touch to the experience, making Can Suldat a must-visit if you’re looking for an unconventional and memorable meal in Ibiza.

Golden Buddha

San Antonio

Famous for summer sunsets, but maybe lesser known for a winter hangout, Golden Buddha is a favourite among tourists and residents.

Hang out on the terrace, on one of the comfortable sofas or Balinese beds, and lazily watch the day turn into night. Their menu offers various exotic dishes, with nods to Spanish, Mexican, and Indian cuisines, all prepared with quality ingredients.

This San Antonio spot is particularly renowned for its refreshing sangria, cocktails, and extensive gin menu, and is the perfect spot for a sunny daytime winter date.
