Where to enjoy a sunset dinner in Ibiza

Where to enjoy a sunset dinner in Ibiza

Ibiza’s sunsets are iconic. There are so many spots on the island where you can enjoy some incredible food as the sun goes down on another beautiful day.

A few Alba + Rock favourites include:

Hostal La Torre

Owned by the Mambo Group, Hostal La Torre is a beautiful breakfast, lunch and dinner spot that’s open all year round. This beautiful rustic restaurant is perched on a cliff in Cap Negret near San Antonio. Their menu is filled with farm-to-table Mediterranean dishes that use local ingredients you can trust. The sunsets from this spot are completely unspoiled and always backed by amazing DJs.

Chiringuito Cala Xuclar

This really is a hidden gem, but we’re happy to share our secrets with you. There is a tiny cove on the road to Portinatx, not known by many. The Chiringuto at Cala Xuclar serves top-quality food and the view of the sunset from it is absolutely perfect. This is the real side of Ibiza; rustic, unglamorous but truly beautiful. Service is perfection and so is the food.

Experimental Beach

Don’t let the dirt track leading up to this hidden gem put you off because what awaits you is simply beautiful. Tucked way in Las Salinas salt reserve, Experimental Beach is the perfect place to enjoy dinner and watch the sun go down. Toes in the sand, enjoy the barefoot elegance and mellow music. The cuisine is simple but delicious, favouring the local farms and produce.

Sa Punta

Although not directly facing the sunset, you can still see the sky turning orange and pink in the most beautiful way. Sa Punta is a chic and sophisticated spot, with 3 restaurants with tastes to suit everyone and beautiful panoramic views of Talamanca and Dalt Vila.

A rarity on the island, you can enjoy authentic Lebanese dishes on the rooftop terrace at Patchwork. The colourful decor and furniture make this spot so Instagrammable! Chilled Balearic beats whilst watching the sunset = heaven! For a healthy, clean dinner try a mix of hot and cold mezze plates with Fatouch salad and Chich Taouk (chicken skewers).

Dinner is equally as delicious at Ginger. If you love Asian food, this place has to be on your list. We love the Wild Seaweed Ceviche, Thai Vegetable Red Curry and Chicken Gyozas.
