When it comes to unforgettable views, the island of Ibiza is a paradise. The picturesque landscapes, stunning sunsets, and panoramic vistas make every corner of the island a photographer's dream.
I know that everyone has their favourites, but I wanted to share with you mine so that next time you are on the island, you can maybe experience something new!
From the top of historical castles to luxurious hotel rooftops, each of these locations offers a unique perspective on Ibiza's beauty.
Dalt Vila
Take a step back in time as you ascend the cobblestone streets of Dalt Vila, Ibiza's old town.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a mesmerizing view of the city, marina, and the Mediterranean Sea.
As you climb to the top, the view becomes even more spectacular. Reaching the top, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the entire town, the surrounding sea, and the distant hills. I would suggest heading up there at sunset, as the sky transforms into a canvas of vibrant hues, casting a beautiful glow over the ancient city.
Sa Talaia
For a 360-degree view of Ibiza and the neighbouring island of Formentera, a hike up Sa Talaia, Ibiza's highest peak, is a must.
This moderately challenging trek through the pine forests takes you to the summit, where you'll be greeted with sweeping views of the entire island and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea.
On a clear day, you can see the silhouette of Formentera on the horizon - it really is beautiful!
7Pines Hotel at Sunset
When you think of perfect views, especially at sunset, 7Pines Ibiza should definitely come to mind.
This luxurious hotel offers an unparalleled view of the sun dipping below the horizon, with the Mediterranean Sea as a stunning backdrop.
As the sun begins its descent, make your way to the hotel's spacious deck. The hotel’s infinity pool gives the illusion of it merging with the sky, creating a breathtaking view that feels as if you're floating between the sea and the heavens as you watch the sun go down on another perfect Ibiza day.
As the day transitions into night, the gentle glow of the setting sun provides a warm, romantic atmosphere. I love chilling here with a cocktail in hand. It feels so calm - a moment of tranquillity and awe that captures the magical essence of Ibiza.
Es Vedra Hike
For those craving a bit of adventure, a hike to an Es Vedra viewpoint is a must.
This mystical rock formation, standing stark against the sea, has been the subject of numerous local legends. Some of the hiking routes to various viewpoints are not for the faint-hearted, but the stunning views of Es Vedra and the surrounding seascape are worth every step.
If you’re looking for something easier, head to Cala d’Hort for an amazing view of Es Vedra from sea level.
Nobu Hotel Rooftop
One of my absolute favourites for a luxury experience and breathtaking views. The Nobu Hotel rooftop overlooks the Port of Ibiza, with a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea and Ibiza's skyline.
Whether you're sipping a cocktail by the pool or dining under the stars, the view from Nobu Hotel is one you won't forget in a hurry!
