Travelling with your family to Ibiza? Here are some of my top family-friendly restaurants to add to your travel list.
I sometimes find that travelling with children can be stressful, especially at dinner time when you are trying to find something that caters for everyone. I hope this list takes some of that stress away from you.
La Oliva - Dalt Vila
Set in the heart of Dalt Vila, this picturesque terrace lined with white wooden chairs has the most romantic Mediterranean feel. Sit and enjoy a delicious meal whilst you watch the world go by. My kids love running up and down the street and visiting the little shops that surround the area.
La Chickeria - Santa Gertrudis
For a casual midweek lunch or dinner, I think La Chickeria is perfect. Their motto is ‘We do chicken right,’ and they certainly do!! Think organic, farm-to-plate Nando’s style rotisserie chicken. Anyone that has enjoyed farm chicken from Ibiza will know it is something special. Slightly yellow in colour which means they were born and raised the organic way, grain-fed with plenty of space.
Beachouse - Playa d’en Bossa
‘A Balearic sanctuary dedicated to foodies and creatives with curious minds.’
This is one of my favourite places to go. The only thing I wish is that it was open more of the months of the year! It is a laid-back luxury-style beach club with a restaurant offering contemporary dining from wholesome breakfasts to lunches on the terrace to dining under the stars at night.
Beachhouse reflects the soul of Ibiza in its food and ambience. Free-spirited, curious and wild.
There’s a DJ playing perfectly paired chilled Balearic sounds all day and a fantastic kids club behind the boutique run by Kids in Ibiza.
Il Giardinetto - Marina Botafoch
This traditional family-run restaurant and pizzeria is probably one of the most well-known Italian restaurants in Ibiza! I love this spot because you’re in the heart of Marina Botafoch where there’s always a little buzz. Even though, Il Giardinetto is very moderately priced and open all year round too.
Can Mimosa - Santa Gertrudis
I’ve mentioned this one in my island favourites for its incredible Sunday roast, but Can Mimosa is also a great spot to take the family any time of the week. Fresh dishes, tapas and sharing plates, and a delicious drinks menu make it the perfect spot for a family dinner.
There’s a cute little playground for the kids so you can enjoy your meal whilst the kids are having fun too.
So there you have it! My favourite spots for a family meal.
