I love exploring new places to stay in Ibiza and, year after year, there are some newbies that pop up that get me all excited to visit again just so I can go and check them out.
2023 has been no exception, and so I’ve put together a quick selection of my favourite hotels that have opened this year in Ibiza so that you don’t have to go searching yourself.
Hyde and Mondrian
Cala Llonga
My first selection is actually 2 hotels from the same group, who have opened side-by-side hotels, the Hyde and the Mondrian overlooking the beautiful Cala Llonga beach.
In total, there are 563 rooms and suites, nine bars and restaurants, multiple pools, and a chiringuito-style beach club to enjoy.
Mongibello Ibiza
Siesta, Santa Eulalia
Mongibello Ibiza is an ultra-chic adults-only hotel, situated right above the beautiful Siesta beach.
It’s part of the Concept Hotel Group, which boasts a profile of some of the most insta-worthy hotels on the island (think Paradiso, Romeos, Cubanito, and more) and is themed around La Dolce Vita, creating an authentic Italian luxury experience.
Ibiza Insider Tip: There’s a “secret” bar off the lobby called Lola’s if you fancy cocktails and dancing into the night.
The Palm Star
Cala de Bou
This hotel is an absolute haven! It’s super laid-back and has a great atmosphere around the pool. And even if you’re not staying, you can do a day pass here and spend the day chilling with amazing food and cocktails whilst the house DJs play.
It’s the third hotel in the Star chain after the Beach Star and Coral Star Hotels.
Oaks Ibiza
Ibiza Town
Finally, I want to put one more hotel on your radar. Oaks Ibiza was due to open this year, but unfortunately, there’s been no confirmation as yet.
So, this is a sneak peek into the hotels opening in 2024!
If you want something right in the heart of the action, Oaks Ibiza will be ideal. It’s just one block away from Vara De Rey, which means you can easily explore Ibiza Town and Dalt Vila on foot.
It will have a beautiful rooftop overlooking the city, so once I’ve been able to try it out, I might even add this one to my favourite rooftop bars guide.
