The Best Hikes in Ibiza for 2024 (Part 2)

Following on from part one, I wanted to share with you 3 more amazing hikes in Ibiza that you should add to your list for 2024.

There are so many benefits to hiking. Not only do you get to explore this incredible island, but you’re also working on your physical fitness and mental health all whilst connecting to nature.

During the summer, the best times to go for a hike are either early in the morning before it gets too hot, or late in the afternoon as the sun starts to go down. Personally, I think that a sunrise (or morning) hike on the east of the island is the perfect way to start a day, but you’ll also find me chasing sunsets on the west coast!

So, without further ado, let’s get walking:

Es Cubells

Any walk or hike that gets me a great view of Es Vedra is high on my list! Starting at the cute village of Es Cubells, you’ll follow the coast around to an incredible viewpoint, but not before making it down to the hidden cove of Cala Llentrisca.

The remainder of the 10.5km hike curves through the forests and farmland, looping back into Es Cubells to finish.

Portitxol

Imagine this; a completely secluded cove, sheltered from the winds, with crystal clear waters and just a few fisherman huts lining the water's edge.

This hike takes you to just that, and it is truly stunning! I recommend taking a rucksack with a picnic down there and spending a few hours away from it all. Be warned, there’s no phone signal basically from the very beginning of this hike, so have the route downloaded or screenshotted so you know where you’re going if it’s your first time.

Festival Club

This hike is perfect for not only enjoying Ibiza’s countryside but also going back into its history. The Festival Club, which was once a thriving hub of Ibiza's nightlife and music scene, is now covered in incredible murals and graffiti.

It’s easy to spend hours just at the Festival Club alone, as there are so many different areas to explore. I love to sit there and imagine what it was like back in the 70s when coach loads of people were driven there to party the night away under the stars.

The rest of the hike weaves through the countryside, past some dreamy villas! Take a look at the route
