Visiting Ibiza in the quieter time of year is my favourite thing to do: the weather is perfect, the winter chill is fading away and the promise of a summer of fun and sun-filled adventures gets me and the family excited for what’s to come.
Easter in Ibiza marks the beginning of the lively season, welcoming holidaymakers not only from the UK but from mainland Spain as well. With Good Friday landing on March 29th, Ibiza is coming to life uncharacteristically early this year. Yay for us!
With a mix of cultural festivities, outdoor activities and restaurant and bar openings, there's something for everyone to enjoy during this special time on the island. Here are a few of my highlights for Easter 2024 in Ibiza.
Las Dalias Easter Market
San Carlos
One of my favourite hippy markets in Ibiza, the Las Dalias Market runs all year but really springs to life from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday, marking the start of the summer season.
It's a real treasure trove of artisanal finds and creations from the creative community of the island. There will be lots of stalls selling hand-made jewellery, clothing, shoes, food items, crystals and so much more! You can make an afternoon of it and enjoy food and drinks at Las Dalias Café or the restaurant within the market itself.
Coco Beach Ibiza
Playa d’en Bossa
For those seeking a touch of luxury and a toes-in-the-sand experience, Coco Beach Ibiza is opening its doors for 2024 from Thursday 28th March.
Tucked away at the end of Playa d'en Bossa beach, this exclusive beach club offers an indulgent escape with amazing cocktails, delicious food and great DJs and entertainment. And what’s better than having a dip in the sea and lying on a sun-lounger in March?!
Ruta de la Sal Regatta
San Antonio
If you’re into sports, take time out to watch the Ruta de la Sal (Salt Route) Sailing Regatta.
This renowned offshore race includes hundreds of sailing boats competing against the backdrop of the incredible Meditteranean Sea, sailing from Denia to San Antonio from March 28th to 30th.
Easter Egg Hunt
Cala Llonga
The Olive near Cala Llonga are celebrating Easter with an Easter Egg hunt for the little ones on Sunday 31st March, as well as a guided walk and brunch on Monday 1st April.
You can explore the stunning Ibiza countryside, with a leisurely stroll to Cala Olivera beach followed by a yummy brunch at The Olive. It's a really nice way to celebrate Easter weekend while immersing yourself in Ibiza’s natural beauty.
