There are so many things that I love about Ibiza. Not only the amazing restaurants, cafes, hotels, and beach clubs - but also the abundance of shops offering local and organic produce so that, when we decide to cook at home, we can get the best ingredients possible right here on the island.
Ibiza is dotted with numerous shops that offer a wide range of organic, vegan, and vegetarian products sourced from local farms. Today, I wanted to share with you 3 of the best local and organic food shops in Ibiza that are definitely worth a visit.
Biorganic: A Gem in the Heart of Jesus
Located in the heart of Jesus, Biorganic is a haven for health-conscious foodies. This store is known for its wide variety of vegan and vegetarian products, plus the fruits and vegetables are sourced from 16 local Ibizan farms, meaning that you get the freshest produce every single day.
But that's not all. Biorganic also offers freshly baked bread and other produce, perfect for a quick breakfast or a leisurely brunch. I particularly love their organic freshly squeezed juices, which are super refreshing throughout the summer.
Biorganic has other stores in Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia, making it easily accessible no matter where you are on the island.
Polen Ecoshop: A Unique Health Food Shop in Santa Gertrudis
Polen Ecoshop, located in the charming village of Santa Gertrudis, is not your average health food shop.
It’s cute and stylish and offers a wide range of fresh, organic produce sourced from nearby local farms. The shop's commitment to promoting healthy and sustainable living is evident in its carefully curated selection of products and I take so much inspiration from there for my own home.
Super Can Guasch: Your One-Stop Organic Supermarket
Situated on the Santa Eulalia road, Super Can Guasch is a great supermarket that stocks everyday products with a focus on fresh and organic items.
The shop offers a massive selection of fresh, Km0 produce straight from local fields, along with rare products that you won’t find anywhere else on the island. I end up browsing for way longer than I should here!
Some of the local items they stock include oils, liqueurs, jams, honey, and Ibizan salt - there’s a huge assortment of bits and pieces from the island that I always stock up on when I’m there.
Not only that, but there is a generous section of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and organic products in store.
Daily, freshly-baked bread and pastries are available too and they even provide custom-made sandwiches with your preferred bread and fillings.
